Here at Fusion, we serve just one purpose: to get you the very best from your or your customers car.
We specialise performance engine management systems (EMS) both OEM and after market. We work with commercial and individuals alike and offer technical help on fault finding, installation, setup and consultation with on board vehicle EMS systems and related subcomponents. We work with old and new vehicles from things as normal as a Nissan or Toyota to rare and exotic such as Jaguar and TVR.
We are expects in the setup and configuration of many after market EMS systems including: Omex , Syvecs, Apexi, Microtech, Greddy, Emerald, Motec, Link, AEM etc. We also have on site test facilities to be able to fault find and in many cases repair these types of systems.
We have extensive real life experience with forced induction and supercharged vehicles down to being able to help with component selection and design implementation. We also have experience with exotic fuels and nitrous oxide injection.
We also specialise in many Japanese vehicles, see our customers cars for some typical examples. With on-site dyno facilities we offer you a complete one stop solution for all your tuning needs. We are professionals and offer down to earth real life tuning and engine development for every day or track car owners.
What do we do?
Fusion is fully insured to carry out the following services:
Parts supply: We can supply many kinds of parts and accessories. For example: turbos, tyres, intercoolers, pipework, silicone hoses, pistons, con rods, cams and automotive electronic management systems
Part fitting and vehicle maintenance / fabrication: From our Chertsey workshop we are able to fit and configure all manor of parts and accessories. There is also an on-site Dyno Dynamics rolling road where we can perform advanced diagnostic and tuning services. We are also able to do fabrication work, a daily skill we find is required for fitting so called 'direct fit' tuning products!
ECU tuning and custom mapping: We offer fitting and mapping facilities for Syvecs, Omex, e-Manage, Power FC, Motec, Microtec, Emerald and most other popular ECU systems. We also have the facilities to remap stock Nissan ECU's and will soon be introducing Flash re-mapping technology for Subaru and Mitsubishi car computers. In addition to this we can map configure and setup virtually any piece of after market electronic control equipment such as boost controllers, fuel computers or launch control systems. We have over 13 years of experience working with and developing electronic control systems and are very capable in this field.

Ed, 29 is the founder of Fusion Motorsport. With an educated background and born natural understanding of computers, electronics, mechanics and physics, it was no coincidence that Fusion was born. Outside of Fusion, Ed has consulted and designed electronic control systems for other well known performance manufacturers. Ed is Fusion's resident mapper, and has also written technical articles for Total Nissan. Out side of Fusion Ed practices Kung Fu and has a new found interest in speedboats.
Steve is a car Japanese car enthusiast himself having also owned and worked with Nissans, Subarus and Mitsubishis. Steve is quite at home taking on heavy and messy jobs and has a driving ambition to always see a project to its completion.
Jamie New to the team works with us on a part time basis and also is an owner/driver for team Fusion in the 2010 BDC.

Brief summary of some of our (and our customers) results:
2009: Yaser Almaghribi wins in the Class D LMA Euro Saloon & Sports Car Championship. A fantastic achievement in his Turbo Charade GTTi. This car was mapped by Ed using the Greddy e-Manage system and gave Yaser significantly improved competitiveness on the track. We managed to gain 25hp more midrange with a 190bhp top end all from the 998cc 3cyl 12v engine, using little more boost than he was using initially. Fusion would like to pass our congratulations to Yaser for this great achievement. Hopefully we will see this car in 2010 as we know we can improve further.
2007: Pulsar GTi-R Full out street legal track car, Motec management. 400+bhp. HKS Drag Series street class. Ran a 11.2 with 2sec 60ft, ran again with a 1.6 sec 60ft and split gearbox. Was leading class.
2007: Evo II Forged everything, Solaris ECU, GT 35R turbo, 2 bar boost. Dyno'ed at 660bhp. 11.2 @ 127 mph. First time ever on a drag strip, Second overall 4wd RWYB class @ Rotorstock Will be in the 10's with more experience!
2006: Pulsar GTi-R Fully forged Road/track car Motec management TOTB - results to follow.
2005: March Super turbo, Stock engine, T25 turbo, 1.7 bar boost, 25BHP Nitrous, Nismo Clutch, Stock Transmission, 11th overall in the unlimited FWD class - Fast show 2005. (remember only 930cc engine!)
2005: Evo 1 - 4G63, fully forged, Power FC, 3076 turbo 1.6 bar boost, stock transmission twin plate clutch, dyno'ed at 550bhp. Winner fastest 4WD private entry Jap show June 2005.
2004: Pulsar GTi-R 11.8 at TOTB 2004 - e-manage blue, stock ignition, quaife gear set, 2871 turbo, 1.6 bar boost. Top speed approx 160mph. |
