It was about this time 6 years ago we were working on our Pulsar GTiR for the summer TOTB event, that means that we have been in this game of mapping and playing with Nissan ECU's and Piggyback systems for quite some time!
Which leads quite nicely onto another little 'plug'. If you have a performance (doesn't have to be Japanese) car and are looking to have its ecu remapped get in touch and see what we can do for you.
Finally just to say were also looking acquiring OBDII mapping tools. This will of course enable us to tune your family run about (!) as well as your turbo charged fire eating weekender!
Its always nice when we can help out new and old customers at the last moment, especially if its not something we usually do.
Friday we had a call from an owner with a first gen Yaris T-Sport. He wanted to know if we could fit his e-Manage Ultimate and map it on Saturday. As it happens we had the time, and that's exactly what we did. It has to be said sometimes we want to get the e-Manage Ultimate and throw it out of a window. They have gone through multiple design changes and had more than their fair share of software bugs but this worked very well indeed.
Fuelling issues were corrected and minor changes to the ignition map were carried out and the car then drove very well with its modifications indeed. Unfortunately it was a road map and so we didn't get any power figures to back this up, but hopefully the car will return later in the year for a power run and further gains if possible.
So that's another one we can confidently add to our list. Quite possibly we will be seeing more of these, Just want to get our hands on a turbo one now!
